Your CMU "flight crew" found out their scores for their first Court Captain quiz this week. Top scores were a three-way tie between Cherry, The Cannon, and Stink with 9/10 points! Bottom scores were Gelato and Boujee, but don’t feel too bad even though these two took a bit of a nosedive in their score they still got the fun prize of a basketball stress ball!
The piles of prizes for the Launch Party are starting to reach death-defying heights! Each of our crew members are working diligently to make sure each round is filled with amazing options. Make sure to bring your wallets and competitive spirit on Thursday, February 22nd at O’Kelly’s from 7-10pm!
The team got to have their first Macker "Bonding Day" this past week, hosted by T.A. The Kid. The crew was split into teams of four or five to compete for glory – and bragging rights – while being quizzed on Top Gun, CMU, and Macker trivia, and their fellow crew members. The crew got to learn all sorts of new things, like that Kelly/Shorts Stadium has a maximum capacity is 30,255 people, and Top Gun was released in 1986!
Can you guess what team member is pictured above? Hint: It was one of our highest or lowest Court Captain scores and she will be the Public Address Announcer during tournament weekend and at the Launch Party!
The crew also began practicing the famous Opening Ceremonies dance – a tradition unique to the CMU Macker tournament. This year, the dance is being choreographed by the incredible Stink, who has mixed together songs from the Top Gun soundtrack that are sure to give you that "loving feeling."
